Arctic Sea Ice: 1.2 Million km

Antarctic Sea Ice: 1.5 million km

Net Global Sea Ice Deviation: 0.3 million km

ENSO Forecast: La Nina Through 2008

Looking at the ENSO forecast it looks as if we'll have La Nina with us in some form or another for the rest of the year. The pocket of colder water that was in the eastern Pacific has spread west across most of the Pacific Ocean. While it isn't as cool in pockets it has spread across a larger area.

This is March 16th.
